LEED is designed to influence decisions and encourage high performance throughout a building's life cycle. USGBC is streamlining the processes and metrics that track, report and verify LEED project performance beyond initial certification to enable and support recertification. Using the Building Performance Partnership (BPP) and LEED 2012 for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance rating system, USGBC's new LEED Recertification Program will allow projects to easily maintain, improve and verify their operational performance. This session will announce the new LEED Recertification Program and discuss how USGBC is continuing its mission of market transformation through continuous building performance tracking and improvement.
